And it was, I ended up out there for half an hour with a mallet and a small chisel just to get the drivers door open.

Yeah... I've had this happen a couple times. I just sat inside for an hour with the heater blasting to help me chisel it off...
I just yanked my door open...luckily it didn't do any damage.

The Eclipse had frameless door windows, so just prying was not an option for me.
